Picking Antioxidants of the Blue Variety

Jeff and I ventured out to find blueberries today after hearing they are ready to pick. I lasted a whole 45 minutes. The bugs just love me, let me tell you, and I have no patience for them. So, I had to call it a day. We'll have to go again when it's cooler so I can cover up and not feel like I'm swimming in my own sweat. Sorry, but 70 degrees + sweatshirt + pregnancy = not very comfortable!

On a completely unrelated note, my curtains came today! Unfortunately, I ordered 60" in length when I thought I was choosing the width, so they'll be getting shipped back. Bummer, I thought I was getting a deal by buying curtains rather than making them. Guess we'll be waiting a little longer for more attractive window coverings. (Did I mention that we've been using a blanket?)

we used a blanket in our room for many years....2-3 maybe. when i took it down it was dry rotted from the sun. you'll enjoy the curtains and appreciate them once they're up!

Ha ha Cami! Blueberries are ready already? (that sounds funny) I'm not in the mood to go pick them, but I guess me and Em will have to get out there some night. They're free!

Nothing like wild blueberries. I went & picked some this week. Bob is in town & I'm making him blueberry pancakes this morning. Yummy!! Can't believe that you can bend enough to pick!
