okay...I give. who's kid is Jeff? Love this picture, and I like his smiling twinkling eyes..sure sign of a keeper in my book.
I'd have to agree there!! His mom and dad are Paul and Paula. Paul's mom and dad are Ginger and Marty Lassila.
oh man!Now I have to know if he's the one, or was it a brother, who won the dog contest downtown one year. I can't remember which category it was - but he was all dressed up and so was the dog. best costume? looks most like your dog? I can't remember, but I remember being impressed. And it's nice to put a face to a name - I've heard a lot of good things about your dude there. That he has twinkling eyes is a bonus. ;) But ask him..'bout that dog thing...they won like a years supply of dog food, I remember that much
yeah, that would be him!
Cool! I totally remember that. How fun.
yup a years supply, funny thing is with that dog (Baily) it lasted for about three years. i think she was part bird. any way we were fisher man with lifejackets and floppy hats.
that is a nice picture of you two!
Thats! what it was...fishermen. I was struggling to remember. I remember khaki clothes. That's always a fun contest to watch..and it was more fun knowing someone in it..we were totally cheering for you. And now I'm feeling old, cuz you were a little younger back then.
Now, you've all got me curious. When was that?
I'm not 100% but i think i was 11 or 12. Bailey the dog i won that contest with passed away about a two years ago. so needles to say it was a few years ago.
All I know is that the kid that won was far too young to be dating Heidi! But, gosh...it didn't seem like that long ago.
sorry to pick on you jeff, but i found it quite funny when you wrote "needles" when you meant to write "needless"! i knew what you meant to write but it still made me giggle! :)
yeah I go for the younger guys...;)
hey...so I was visiting Jeff's mom at the grad party tonight - talking about the old dog contest and stuff...and then she mentioned that Jeff is working on helicopters and stuff. Cool! That's what Greg did in the Navy...worked on helicopters. Anyway...I thought that was cool so I had to share that before my old brain forgot.
Beatle - I just had to say, for a girl who rarely posts, you sure are good at starting blogg-ersations!And BTW, how come I always thought "Beatle" was spelled Beetle?!
