Are you sick of looking at bagels yet??

I know I am! Although I do need to make more...

We had a fabulous weekend up at the camp. (I know, I know, I said weekend and it's nearly the weekend again.) Jeff's Uncle Steve was there with his family. Their Ava is about a month younger than Adrian and she is taking steps! It was so much fun to see them playing together, neither of them are regularly around babies their age/size. At first, Ava just tackled Adrian and then they figured out how to play together. (Haha!) At one point, they were chasing one another, I am amazed that they figured that out on their own! I wish I had pictures but...well you know my track record. Actually, I left the memory card in our computer so I wasn't able to take a single photo. In fact, I quite literally just pulled it out, I'm forgetful like that.

Adrian loved the water, even Lake Superior! He would play in Ava's blow-up pool on the beach and every once in a while he would take off towards the water. He loved splashing on the shore and playing with the rocks.

I had to run a couple times while we were up there. I usually run on Sunday mornings but I decided to run on Saturday night since we would be in town. (Me being scared of the bears and all...) What a mistake! It was in the low 90's all day. Even in the evening, when I finally headed out, it was so hot and humid. I ran 3 miles but it felt like 6. It took a couple dips in the canal to cool me down. I think my lungs are finally getting used to this running; I ran 3.5 miles this morning with Kate and it was almost easy. Compared to Saturday evening anyways. It feels so good to be getting regular exercise!

It's definitely summer, I feel like a kid. We came back home on Tuesday night and we're heading back up a week from today!

One more thing: we are selling our car as a step to getting rid of debt. We need to buy another car, we're definitely downgrading here, feel free to offer your condolences. We're saving our pennies to save for that car so I probably won't be out garage saling until that happens. So, I won't be posting any treasures. Sorry to disappoint. ;)

hey, rest easy Heidi, i think you, me and a million others are doing the exact same thing so no condolences needed as we are all in the same boat. good for you with the running - it's really amazing what exercise does for our mental health even. i started a training program in the middle of the winter and then had to quit for some minor health issues but now i'm back at it and ending week 4. i love it.
