Hmm....
"I always wanted to do this" she said.
I didn't get a picture of the cake before. She made it in busybees, it had three clowns made out of frosting, it was pretty cute.

Beautiful Patterns ;)
Here is the rest of that paper, I could have sworn I had AT LEAST one more piece to match but I guess not. It's not actually the same line, the polka dots are by Bo-Bunny Press and the other two are the same line but they don't have a name on them.
And here is some more, with Jen in mind:
Now maybe I should put all that paper to good use...
Enjoy!

I Stayed Home
I haven't been feel too great these past few days, sniffles, chills, aches, coughing, phlegm, fun stuff! I actually went into work, saw that we only had four kids, and asked to go home. 'Course the boss wasn't too thrilled. :S Whatev. I figure it's better not to get everyone else sick right?
So instead I did this:
My desk usually looks something like this WHILE I am scrapping
It's not until afterwards that it looks like this
And this is precisely what I did
Well it's past 8'o'clock! Time for this sick girl to go to bed!!
G'night!

High School and Beyond
Life is so different after high school. In high school you're concerned about the latest styles, how you're going to afford the expensive school lunches, and whether or not you're going to get a passing grade on your physics exam. Not to mention the annoying dramatic people who complain about how dramatic everyone is.
I always heard that I would miss high school once it was over. I didn't believe it. I still don't! I enjoy working so much more than I ever enjoyed school. Don't get me wrong, I did like school, got decent grades, and had a great group of both Christian and "school" friends. Lunches at the "Finn Table" were always very entertaining. Watching Wade and Keith push the teachers to the limit. Yet we still had the principle sit with us a time or two and tell us "I don't know why, but I really like your group of kids." :)
I was amazed for the longest time about how different work was than school. In school, we were so seperated by age and grade. There was the "popular" crowd, the "goths," the "preppy" kids and so on. At work it was just one group working together. I was the youngest (at 17) when I first started and the oldest was about 55. It didn't matter. I was never treated like I was so young or didn't know what I was doing (even though I'm sure I was at first). It's nice to be respected!

Well, well, well...
Thanks for all the support!! :D I am officially done with the three-year-olds! I said "good-bye" to all of them, but no tears. The other teachers were making fun of me, it's not like I'm leaving the center! But still, they are a great group of kids even if they do drive me crazy...I just feel bad because now they are stuck with crabby-pants.
When I told the lead that this was my last week in her room she said "I kind of expected it, we haven't been getting along lately." Puke, puhlease. I didn't realize what a relief it would be to get away from her!
So I'm off to the two-year-olds on Monday, wish me luck! It will be so different, right now there are usually around 17 kids and 2 teachers. With two's it will be 8 kids and 2 teachers. There will be 2 other teachers and 8 more kids on the other side of the half wall as well. I'm pretty excited! :D
I almost forgot to mention one of the girls brought cupcakes in because it was my last day! I thought that was really sweet. Althought when everyone asked her why she brought them in she would say "uh...I dunno."
So much for that.

Should I Stay or should I Go?
Decisions, decisions. As some of you may know, I've been having issues with my coworker. For those who don't know, long story short, I'm an assistant teacher in three-year-old room at a daycare. The lead teacher in the room needs to move to Australia and never come back. I just might blow my top if she doesn't. Soooo...there is an opening in the two-year-old room. Two of the teachers are awesome super duper sweet, I would love to work with them (one of them being Kayla L). I wouldn't be working with them so much as the third teacher in the room who (whom?) I don't particularly know. But she seems alright. Better than what I'm workin with right now. However, my problem is I've worked with three-year-olds for the last two years so this with be a big change. Plus also, then my ex-coworker (I'm liking the sound of that) would sound like this for the next month:
"Is it something I did?"
"Are you mad at me?"
"Did I do something wrong?"
"Did something happen?"
This is serious people!
So wadya think? Should I take it?

Inspiration
Amanda's got me so inspired about her making her cake that I'm thinking I might just get my fabric from Marijane and make my dress myself! I mean how hard can it be?
;)
