I went shopping yesterday with Kayla and Cindy to find dresses. Our venture out to Novi was very productive! I found my dress, well sort of. Marijane is making it so I found different parts of the dress that I want. We also found the bridesmaid dresses, they will all be the same, Marijane is making them as well. I haven't decided on a color scheme yet, I have to go with Marijane to pick out fabric. I want satin and I'm thinking of yellow or blue but we'll see. I'm not getting stuck on one color yet.
Enjoy the day!
P.S. I'm looking for flat dainty shoes for myself, preferably satin. If you see any in your travels let me know! :)

I keep checking your blog from some sort of wedding updates... :)
Wear slippers. I did on my wedding day and I was so glad I did because they were SO comfortable plus I felt like a princess walking around in little slippers.
emily :)
emily beat me too it. I wore flat dainty slippers too - and proceeded to wear them every day for the next year and a half until they bottomed out. $6. couldn't go wrong and I'd do it again.
Me too! And I'm so glad I did. If you go that route, I'd recommend the kind with the rubber soles and be sure they're really cushioned & comfy, as you'll have them on all day.
Although, I'm trying to think if I wore shoes during pictures... I think I may have...just because I'm already so short... but I don't remember for sure...
P.S. I never wore mine after that day, they're still in a box with my other wedding day mementos (hair clips, wedding announcements, napkins etc...)
That's what I was going to do (wear slippers) but I'm afraid that if it ends up being wet and nasty (you just never know in Michigan) then they would soak through when I went outside and I'd have soggy feet all day!
Love hearing wedding details...must be a girl thing!
Beatle ~ Now that you mention it, I DID wear shoes for pictures! Because it was raining! Lol! And I wore my slippers inside the church for the ceremony and reception. And by the time the reception was over, it had dried up outside.
And on a side note, my shoes were silver. I wore the ones I'd worn as a bridesmaid for Shelley and John's wedding. But you could go blue, for 'something blue'. I think someone else did that, but blanking out on who...
good idea! I was just thinking my garter would be blue but blue shoes would be fun!
Truthfully...I wish I'd done that! :) The thing is, you'd actually wear them again too.
